The following are descriptions of positions for which Culmore Clinic is actively recruiting volunteers. Please click the links below to learn more, and contact us if you’d like to apply.
Seeking Specialists
After an initial evaluation conducted by the Culmore Clinic, patients will be referred to volunteer medical specialists. The Specialist will see the patient in his or her own office, and Culmore Clinic will help coordinate care as necessary. Liability coverage will be provided to all participating specialists through the VA Risk2 program sponsored by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Risk Management.
The following specialty areas are among those most needed by patients:
Cardiology
Dentists
Dermatology
Gastroenterology
Gynecology
Mental Health Specialists
Oncology
Optometry
Orthopedics
If you are a specialist in any of these areas and would like to volunteer, we ask that you email us. Please expect an email response from us within a week.
